Hydrothermal environments: a window to understand microbial life during the early Earth

This is a 4 year project granted by ANID. It started on April 2021 and it will finish on March 2025. The principal investigator is Martha Hengst from Universidad Católica de Norte.

The sampling sites will be Pampa Lirima (Tarapacá Region), Pellado and La Plata (Maule Region), and Liquiñe (Los Ríos Region).
